Safety Guidelines

 

At WayDIY, your safety — and the safety of your guests — is our priority. Please read and follow these guidelines carefully when using our party tableware and decorations.

1. General Safety

  • Our products are designed for decorative and tableware use only.

  • Keep packaging materials (plastic wraps, ties, boxes) away from children.

  • Do not use products for purposes other than those described on the packaging.

2. Paper Tableware (Plates, Cups, Napkins)

  • Single-use products: unless labeled otherwise, our paper tableware is intended for one-time use.

  • Do not place in the oven, microwave, or dishwasher.

  • Avoid prolonged contact with liquids or oily foods to prevent weakening of the material.

  • Dispose of responsibly after use, following your local recycling guidelines.

3. Bamboo & Wooden Tableware

  • Items are generally safe for serving food but should not be exposed to extreme heat.

  • Hand-wash only; do not place in dishwashers.

  • Not suitable for use as toys or for purposes outside dining and serving.

4. Balloons

  • Balloons may present a choking hazard. Keep uninflated or broken balloons away from children under 8 years old.

  • Always use a balloon pump to inflate. Do not inflate by mouth.

  • Do not overinflate; balloons may burst and cause injury.

  • Dispose of popped balloons immediately.

5. Decorative Items (Banners, Garlands, Centerpieces)

  • For indoor use only, unless packaging specifies otherwise.

  • Keep away from open flames, heaters, or candles.

  • Use hooks, tape, or other safe fasteners — avoid nails or sharp tools that may damage walls or furniture.

  • Store flat or in original packaging to avoid tearing and to ensure safe reuse.

6. Candles & Lighting Accessories (If Sold)

  • Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.

  • Ensure candles are fully extinguished before disposal.
